'KING YAH" arrived from Junk Bay, Hong Hao,

on the 22nd June. Agitators arrived on 23rd and threatened

the Chamber of Commerce.

The eventual result was that the Chinese crew left

the "KING YUAN" but later some of them rejoined and the

shir moved down harbour hoping to complete her crew from a

village thera. She has since sailed for Singapore.

The crew of 8.3. "HERILIN" under ibrwagian Flag

were ordered to strike by delegates from Hong Kong who

arrived in "HYDRANGEA" this was postponed until conclusion

of mee1ing held P.M. 26th June which we to decide what

flags the strike was to be operative against.

Otherwise foomen's :trike is not yet fully in force

as all other ships are still discharging cargo in accord-

anse with the pre-arranged plans.
